Q: Do you support the war in Iraq Bob?

A: Only if I get a complimentary gift card.

I can't believe it. This was in an email. Is this the future of modern foreign policy? You give us a war, we'll give you a complimentary gift card?

Q: What are the head shops of the new millennium?

A: Computers

When I was a dope smoking teenager in the late 60's, most of my time was spent figuring out ways to get higher--better, cheaper, faster. Head shops were to me what Wal-Mart has become to America, a place to get the stuff that you need to make your head go where it needs to go at prices that one can well afford.

Then, drugs ruined my life. I grew up, put away my childish things and got on with my life. Eventually I began to practice the art and science of Software Development. Now I spend most of my time going to a computer to get my head to go where it needs to go at prices that I can well afford.

I am not the only one.

See you at PDC.
